Question:Scenario: A network switch (also called switching hub or bridging hub) is a computer networking device that connects devices together on a computer network by using packet switching to receive, process, and forward data to the destination device.

Most business networks today use switches to connect computers, printers and servers within a building or campus. A switch serves as a controller, enabling networked devices to talk to each other efficiently. Through information sharing and resource allocation, switches save businesses money and increase employee productivity (CISCO, n.d.). As a CISCO Network Administrator, you have been tasked to develop a small switched network, using CISCO hardware, to enhance savings and employee productivity for your company.

Address the points below in your post:

  1. Compare the circuit switching to the packet switching.
  2. Identify the benefits and limitations of the circuit switching and packet switching methods.
  3. Discuss when circuit switching or packet switching is most appropriate for the network requirements.

Your initial post should be a minimum of three hundred and fifty words.
