Using an active Linux terminal do the following....

 

 

1. Change to your home directory and create a directory called Practical1.
2. Create an empty file in your home directory called Salad.
3. Add the following lines to the file Salad: Lettuce, Tomato, and Carrots.
4. View the permissions of the file and take a screenshot of the permissions.
5. Change the permissions to the file Salad.What command did you use?
6. Take a screenshot.
7. Create the following directories under Practical1:
8.         Food/recipes/dinner (one is a subdirectory of the other).
9. Move the file Salad to the dinner directory.
10. Rename Salad to Menu in the dinner directory.
11. Append the word Salad1 into the Menu file in the dinner directory.
12. Display the content of the file Menu on screen. Take a screenshot.
