Facts:

1)      The customer has requested an email update on a previously asked question (this has been a regular communication channel accepted by your company and this project team, but the amount of material in total you have to convey or have available potentially exceeds two pages of summary, research, or in-depth research).  The regular project meeting is not scheduled to occur for another month or so.

Some of my people are indicating a potential disparity in the layout of the proposed data dictionary in this project, and asked me to ping you on it before our next regularly scheduled quarterly meeting in March. 

Here’s the question: We have several different current and legacy data sources with slightly different data structures that we didn’t realize were as different as they apparently are.  Your process to find them all (those differences) is well documented but your standards are to us less so.  What standard will we use for our data dictionary?

Please get back to us before the Christmas break since I need to have all of my people working on the same sheet of music, so to speak, and the holidays are a great time to do some “light” reading.
