Chapter 8: Problem 3 “Return on Investment”

Chapter 12: Problems 5 and 6 “Cluster Analysis”; Problem 9 “Discriminant Analysis; Problem 10 “Logistic Regression”

Choice Two is that you go online to http://www.solver.com/ and complete the following:

1. You may choose to watch the tutorials from any two of the four topics: Integrated Analytic Solver, Optimization and Excel Solver, Monte Carlo Simulation, and Data Mining and Forecasting.
2. Download the free trial software.
3. Download the examples for each category (there are six in all). Choose two examples and use the software (Analytic Solver Platform) to replicate the results in the examples. I have also provided a link here to my dropbox folder containing the examples:
