engine burning isooctane

An engineer runs a test on an experimental aircraft engine burning isooctane (C8H18) and measures the burned gas composition using the sampling system sketched below:

 

A water-cooled gas sample probe withdraws a sample of the hot burned gas. The sample gas passes through two condensate traps held in an ice bath to remove water, so all of the analyzers receive essentially dry gas. The gas analyzers record the following gas composition: 8.44 percent CO2, 8.79 percent O2, 76ppm NOx, 44ppm CO, and IS ppm unburned hydro-carbons.
