Can I put an if else statement inside a loop? I have to ask the user to type in their name, and then in the other box I'm supposed to let the type a number between 1-20. The number will indicate how many times they will be greeted once they click the button. I already made an output statement if the user were to type a number less than one or a number greater than 20.

function greetMe()
  {
   var nums = parseInt();
   var nums = document.getElementById('txtGreeting').value;
   for (var counter=0; counter<1; counter=counter+1)
   {
    $('#errors').append("Please enter a number between 1 and 20.");
    $('#txtName').val('');
   }
  }
   {
   var nums = parseInt();
   var nums = document.getElementById('txtGreeting').value
   {
    $('#errors').append("Please enter a number between 1 and 20.");
   }
  }
