Solving the normal equations yields k ≈ 2.28 and c2 ≈ −0.215, and c1 ≈ e2.28 ≈ 9.77. The best version of the model is y = 9.77te−0.215t , plotted in Figure 4.9. From the model, the timing of the peak concentration and the half-life can be estimated.
