Vicente Lopez Carol Allen ENG101 13404 Lesson 14: Persuasive Re-Visioning October 14, 2017 Illegal Immigration and the Wall The reasons of the intentions of building the wall are such as; preventing immigrants from coming to the United States to take away jobs that are meant to be for the American natives and to reduce the rate of criminal activities allegedly carried out by Mexican immigrants into the United States. All these ideologies are debatable in many aspects, but according to some findings, most Mexican immigrants into the United States are educated and they contribute positively to the American economy in comparison to the alleged number of illiterate immigrants into the country and this means that the stigmatization that of the immigrants needs to be stopped and that building the wall might not help much. I would try to bring out a persuasive advert that will encourage the United States to stop stigmatizing Mexican immigrants in the United States, since most of them bring positive economic benefits to the country through their education and I will also persuade the government to ensure that they have workable visas that these immigrants can hold as they do their work. The audience that I will target to ensure that this project is successful is university students all over America since the level of stigmatization in towards Mexican immigrants affects university students and their parents.
