Illegal Immigration and the Wall

 

            The reasons of the intentions of building the wall are such as; preventing immigrants from coming to the United States to take away jobs that are meant to be for the American natives and to reduce the rate of criminal activities allegedly carried out by Mexican immigrants into the United States. All these ideologies are debatable in many aspects, but according to some findings, most Mexican immigrants into the United States are educated and they contribute positively to the American economy in comparison to the alleged number of illiterate immigrants into the country and this means that the stigmatization that of the immigrants needs to be stopped and that building the wall might not help much.

            I would try to bring out a persuasive advert that will encourage the United States to stop stigmatizing Mexican immigrants in the United States, since most of them bring positive economic benefits to the country through their education and I will also persuade the government to ensure that they have workable visas that these immigrants can hold as they do their work. The audience that I will target to ensure that this project is successful is university students all over America since the level of stigmatization in towards Mexican immigrants affects university students and their parents. It will be an effective way to target university students and the medium I will use is internet adverts that will go across social media platforms such as twitter, Facebook Instagram, among others. Using internet ads as a way of getting university students will be more than effective because the internet is not only limited to students, but to a larger number of people that could even get to be seen by their other family members.

            The project that I will come up with will entail having a certain cause that focuses on peace, love and unity across ethnic boarders in the United States. The advert will entail having pictures of innocent Mexican and American kids holding hands and playing together in a harmonious way in a circle depicting what it would mean for both Americans and Mexicans uniting towards the development of the country. Through effective implementation of this project, most Americans and Mexicans will learn to love and appreciate each other in many ways and in the long-run also teach their children to live in a harmonious way. Even though the project will focus on peace, it will also have some legal rules that the immigrants will be persuaded to follow to ensure that the native Americans also appreciate their stay in the country without the fear of losing their jobs or fear of future criminal activities as it has been claimed over the years.             If I am given sufficient money in the long run, my project will look like a peace campaign that the other parts of the world will also join in to stand and support the unison between Mexican immigrants and American natives since these issues are not only heard in America but the whole world knows about it and there are millions around the world that sympathizes with the Mexican immigrants and the building of the wall. This project will not necessarily be against building of the wall, but it will focus on harmonious coexistence between Americans and Mexican immigrants whether the wall will be built by Trump’s government or not.

            The pros of this project are that it will enable Americans and Mexican immigrants to live harmoniously with reduce levels of stigmatization in Universities and other public institutions and it will also enhance a fruitful relationship between the American and Mexican governments both now and in the future. The American government will also be able to know how to handle and differentiate between legal and illegal immigrants into the country and the idea of deporting Mexicans who are highly qualified and have lived in the United States all their lives will be reviewed effectively while at the same time control entry of illegal immigrants effectively. One of the possible challenges or disadvantages of this project is that it could end up encouraging entry of more illegal immigrants into America if the laws are not followed effectively and if the intentions of this project and advertisement are not well understood.

            In conclusion, finding an effective way of dealing with illegal Mexican immigrants into the United States without having to stigmatize Mexicans in general living there will be the most effective way of handling the case of Illegal immigration and the wall. The idea of building the wall might not necessarily prevent illegal immigrants into the United States since there could be other possible loopholes that contribute to this illegal immigration besides the assumed wall. Having a harmonious relationship between Americans and Mexicans will play a great role in managing this issue since it will also strengthen the relationship between these citizens and their respective governments.
