Question:

Question:

From each of the eight categories, we just outlined, ask yourself at least one question about your view of marriage (or family). For example, you might begin with the question, “In my view, what is the basic purpose or goal of marriage?” (Answer each question after you ask it.)

Afterward, question a friend about his or her views, using the same questions (you should feel free to ask additional questions as they occur to you). Write out an analysis of your questioning process. Do you notice yourself beginning to think at a deeper level-given the questions you are now asking? Did you focus on all eight elements?

-          Purpose:

-          In my view, the purpose of marriage is completeness, companionship, and love.

-          Information:

-          In my own experience as married, we are working hard for the family.

-          We try to earn so that we can support our children needs. Marriage is not only for personal intimacy, but it is about love. In my marriage, we try to solve our problem so that we can achieve the purpose of marriage.

-          Inferences:

-          I believe that marriage should be the who are in love and ready to face challenges not alone but together. Married is for the person who is readyfinancially and emotionally because married is not happiness always, later on, we will experience hardship.

-          Concepts:

-          My concepts of marriage are the acceptance of a new status and obligation to our children. No matter what form of marriage you are in. Marriage is a big responsibility to the partner and children.

-          Assumption:

-          I have some assumption of my marriage appreciation and showing love to partner is very important. Sometimes I forgot to appreciate to my partner for what he did to me, helping and taking care of me. I assumed that my spouse lovesme, so I don’t often say I love you to him or thank you.

-          Implications:

-          There is a possible implication to marriage if it will not handleappropriately. Divorce, cheating, and misunderstanding is the possible problem in marriage if it will not handlecorrectly. The number one will be affected our children. Once our kidsareaffected, they can’t function in school properly, and that leads to another problem.

When I asked my friends about their view of marriage, the answer is similar to my answer companionship and completeness. Also, I asked about her concepts of marriage her answer is marriage is for men and women only, she is against any forms of marriage for her the union should be for man and woman. I focus on answering the eight elements of thoughts.
