GridLayout(7,1) to dispay title, description what it does,

I have assignment due by 17th on this month. I need help with GUI for Java programming. Someone please who are good in using GUI, please help me with this assignment..

In the total, I have 3 windows to open ,

first window. it works well and I used GridLayout(7,1) to dispay title, description what it does, and button to continue next window.

second window,I use JCoboBox for 3 user selections and 1 buttons using GridLayout(5,3) . I have 9 symbols to assign depends on user's birthday. I have 3 JComboBox of Month, Days, and Year. I am having difficult time to figure out how to recognize user selection to assigned third window. I had help from tutors in college to create third window a little( for example, using conditional statement to separate symbols by years, but I did not create days and Month yet.. still I need help with this also).

It also need leap year, but I create code just Leap year, but I don't know how to let recognize when user select the month, days, year ... to response all selected item with Buttons(determine button) together.

Symbols are Nine( 1.Water,2.Earth, 3.Thunder, 4.Wind, 5.Earthquake, 6.Universe, 7.Lake, 8.Mountain, and 9.Fire). I start JComboBox of Year in 1900. Symbol Starting to assign Earth in 1900. As years goes, 1901, 1902..... Symbol go backward, so .. 1900 is 2.Earth, 1901 is 1.Water, 1902 is 9.Fire, 1903 is 8.Mountain etc....

It also need cutoff year.. I do not want to use regular calendar year of cutoff year.

For Example, Symbol 2.Earth on 1900 year starts on February 4th 1900 through February 3rd 1901.

Same goes to each year. Cut off year start on Feb 4 and end in next year of Feb 3rd. I need help to recognize for user's birth day.

EX. If user select birthday as February 3rd 1901 will assigned to Symbol 2.Earth.

 

 

Need help with

-when user select item list from JComboBox to recognize to take correct action to go third window.

-month, days, year and buttons ActionListener to connect third window

-how to insert leap year with JComboBox on user's year selection

-how to program code of cut off days to connect with year and month

-Someone who knows GUI and let

I will only put second window code and please give me a guidance from there. Thank you.
