provided lab7_starter.html file for this program.

I'm not quite sure what i'm supposed to be doing with this lab. I've attached the files provided and would like to know if you could explain to me how I should go about completing this and actually having it run.

  • The DOM
Use the provided lab7_starter.html file for this program. Do not make any changes other than the ones
    listed.
There are three paragraph elements on the page. They have the following id's:
    • p1 •
    • p2
p3 1. Create three variables, with a descriptive name of your choice, that will be used to hold the three
paragraph elements in the web page. You will use these variables in step 2.
    2. Use the document.getElementById method to assign the paragraph elements to your three variables.
    • assign the paragraph with the id p1 to your first variable •
    • assign the paragraph with the id p2 to your second variable
assign the paragraph with the id p3 to your third variable 3. Use the supplied paragraph string constants: PARA1, PARA2, PARA3 to do the following (Do not
change the names, and do not modify the text of these constants):
    1. Update the paragraph with the id of p1, using its innerHTML property, with the PARA1 string
constant. Use the variable you used to hold p1.
    2. Update the paragraph with the id of p2, using its innerHTML property, with the PARA2 string
constant.. Use the variable you used to hold p2.
    3. Update the paragraph with the id of p3, using its innerHTML property, with the PARA3 string
constant. Use the variable you used to hold p3. 4. Use the setAttribute method to do the following:
    1. Set the class for the first paragraph to ptext1.
    2. Set the class for the second paragraph to ptext2.
    3. Set the class for the third paragraph to ptext3. 5. Once you have completed the above do the following:
    1. Use console.log to log the values stored in your element variables (The variables you used with
document.getElementById method). Create a log entry for each of the three.
    2. Use console.log to log the attributes you set on the paragraph elements. Use the getAttribute method
for this. Create a log entry for each of the three.
