The management of a Software Development project is full of uncertainty and complexity. Software Development has enormous elements of creativity and innovation and predicting the outcome of such a project in full is therefore very difficult. In addition, the relationship between the Software Development project manager and the project participants is characterized by an asymmetric distribution of knowledge where individual developers know a lot more about the potential ânegative and positive â of their software development contributions than the project manager does.

 

Given these and other inherent difficulties of managing a Software Development project, answer the following;
