Healthy Plant and Tree Nursery

  1. Create a new database called Lastname_Nursery. Create the inventory table according to the specifications on page 214 of the text.
  2. Download and save the excel file called Nursery4.
  3. Import the inventory data into the tblProduct.
  4. Using the form wizard, create the Product Form. Add command buttons and follow the wizard for the following buttons:Add a record
  5. Find a record
  6. Save a record
  7. Print report. Do not use the wizard for this one. This is like the preceding chapter where you have to create an on click event using the Product No. as the condition of your report. Build a macro.
  8. Create the low stock query for stock less than 75. Create the low stock report.
  9. Create the Current Inventory query and report. Do not export to HTML. 
  10. Create the query to export to Excel. We won't be working in Excel, just exporting the data. Several calculated fields are needed:GrossMargin: [SellingPrice]-[ProductCost]
  11. TotalInventoryCost: [ProductCost]*[QOH]
  12. Markup: ([SellingPrice]-[ProductCost])/[ProductCost]
  13. After building the query, with the query selected, select External data, Export to excel. Name the file Lastname_query.
  14. You do not need to work with the filters in Excel. 
  15. Submit both the database and the excel file to the drop box Nursery.
