ethical and legal issues

“A presentation on ethical and legal issues while designing and managing an Enterprise network” Requirements You are required to form groups of around 4-5 students each, within your normal tutorial groups, and undertake some group research into ethical and legal issues regarding network design and management (Assume Trading Floor Network). You will deliver your findings in a group presentation on the subject. Each member of the group is expected to speak for about 3 minutes, and should have contributed around 3 PowerPoint slides to the presentation. There will be individual marks for the presentation skills of each group member, but also group marks for the overall content and group organisation. In total this ICA will contribute 30% to the overall mark for the module. Some issues to consider (not an exhaustive list): • privacy and the abuse of personal data • security and crime • social impact of networks • Ethical issues in closed/open networks • Environmental or health effects network solutions • Liability/trademark/warranties/Intellectual property • The Regulatory Environment /legislation Prior to this presentation week there will be 2 tutorial weeks during which groups can (i) research and (ii) prepare their slides. All sources of information that are used should be referenced in the PowerPoint slides and acknowledged during the presentation. “A presentation on ethical and legal issues while designing and managing an Enterprise network” Requirements You are required to form groups of around 4-5 students each, within your normal tutorial groups, and undertake some group research into ethical and legal issues regarding network design and management (Assume Trading Floor Network).
