Xander Cage is left for dead after an incident, though he secretly returns to action for a new, tough assignment with his handler Augustus Gibbons.

Designated Survivor is another typical major network drama--long on preaching political correctness and diversity, short on substance. Anyone who produces and/or directs a network drama could learn a lot from, for example, Netflix (The Killings, Narcos, The Fall, or Hell on Wheels).
