Derive an expression for the equivalent capacitance of two capacitors attached in series

1. Using Ohm’s law, KVL, and KCL, derive an expression for the equivalent resistance of three parallel resistors (R1, R2, and R3).

2. Derive current division formulas, similar to Equation 2.38, for three resistors in parallel.

3. Given two resistors R1 and R2, where R1 is much greater than R2, prove that the parallel combination is approximately equal to R2.

2. Derive an expression for the equivalent capacitance of two capacitors attached in series.
