A voltage divider is used to split a 12 V battery into ±6 V levels, as shown in Figure 4.48. This divider is intended to supply up to 2 W total, split between the two output voltage levels in arbitrary ratios. Load regulation is to be better than 1%. Choose resistors to meet this need, subject to achieving the highest possible efficiency. What is the efficiency?
