Consider the four datasets given in the data file ANSCOMBE.MTW, which is also one of the sample datasets that comes with MINITAB. Construct a scatter plot for each data set and then obtain the regression equation for each dataset, using MINITAB or other software. Comment. In particular, would we really want to use simple linear regression for each of these datasets? Which datasets, if any, would seem to be suitably fit by a simple linear regression equation?
