Bernoulli effect

Some animals have learnt to take advantage of the Bernoulli effect without having to read a text book on fluid mechanics. A prairie dog burrow contains two entrances: a flat front door and a mounded back door as shown in Figure 1. When the wind blows with velocity v0 across the front door, the average velocity across the back door is higher than v0 because of the mound. Assume the velocity across the back door is 1.07 v0 and the wind velocity is 6 ms-1.
