unlike IGP routing protocols such as IS

unlike IGP routing protocols such as IS OF which is under the control of a single administrative entity and exchanges routes within that entity, GBP exchanges routes (prefixes) for the entire internet and with peers from other administrative domains. therefore, BGP routing table size can become unduly large. What vs be done to mitigate the side effect? please keep answer to the simplest form possible
