lightweight handle

If you grasp a hammer by its lightweight handle and wave it back and forth, and then grasp it by its much heavier head and wave it back and forth, as in the figure, you'll find that you can wave the hammer much more rapidly in the second case, when you grasp it by the head. Explain why this is so.
