Change of stress grade. See table 7.6 As1684. As the grade increases the size of the timber is reduced for the same application.

Change of wind classification. See Table 8.25 As1684. As above.

1. Changing one stress grade to another. So change from, say, F17 to F15, and what is the impact. The first that comes to mind is a larger cross sections are require due to the reduction in stress grade, etc.
