Fuel Efficiency Fuel is a major consumption in today’s economy. Every country uses Fuels in everyday usages. Fuels are Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene. Some well known alternative fuels are ethanol, butanol, chemically stored electricity, hydrogen, natural Gas and vegetable Oil. Fossil fuels are primary coal, hydrocarbons, formed from the remains of dead plants and animals. Everyday usages of petrol and diesel is very harmful to the environment. It could cause many side effects on environment. Moreover, there are limited amount of Fuels left on the earth for the future. Scientists are finding alternative usages of fuels and environmentally friendly. Engineers are doing research on those studies. There are also many big companies all around the world for refining petrol and diesel and other substances. Examples: Reliance, SK Energy Company, Exxon mobile. Biodiesel, made from plant oil and animal fat, powers any engine that runs on petroleum diesel, including semis, cars and trucks. Plant sources of bio diesel include soybeans, cottonseeds, sunflowers, peanuts and canola. Some resourceful drivers even use cooking oil recycled from restaurant deep-fat fryers as fuel, and current research points to algae as another source of biodiesel. In addition to being renewable, biodiesel's strong suit is carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions, which are significantly low on the earth. Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table, and it sees its potential to revolutionize transportation. As a fuel source, it is still in the research stage, but producing it with renewable energy results in virtually pollution- and emissions-free transportation. Even though there are few hydrogen-fueled vehicles on the road, as of publication, the United State's annual hydrogen production of 9 million tons could power 20 to 30 million low to no-emission cars. Q: How serious is "global warming"? Answer: Global warming is the term for the steady rise in average rise in global..
