Write an essay of 6 pages (minimum 1500 words), basing your response to the following question on evidence drawn from your reading of Unit 4.

Choose either the set of political cartoons focusing on organized labour .Consider the context in which these cartoons were originally published and explain the perspectives that they represent. For example, whose viewpoint is portrayed in each of the cartoons? What message does each convey? Do the perspectives change over time, and if so, how? Your essay should have some unifying central argument that says something about dominant values, public opinion, or the power balance between different groups in Canada.

Your paper must be clearly written and argued. It should have a coherent structure, including an introductory paragraph and a conclusion. Proofread and edit your paper carefully to correct errors of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and organization.
