The first part of this assignment challenges you to reflect on how your conflict style has been determined based upon your upbringing, prior knowledge, and personal experiences with conflict situations. You should provide insights drawn from looking closely at your personal conflict history and your results from the TKI survey (500 word min). Do this by answering the following questions:

How do I deal with conflict?

What experiences/assumptions/role models have shaped my way of dealing with conflict?

What question if answered will make the most difference about my way of dealing with conflict?

A good essay goes beyond a listing of data, and engages instead in hard reflections on how “your way” to deal with conflict came into being and how it could develop in the future.

The second part of this assignment is to provide a brief overview of a current conflict issue that you are facing. Provide only some basic info regarding the nature of the conflict, the parties involved, and what has transpired up to the present situation. More importantly provide a proposed action plan for dealing with this conflict as well as what you might learn from the situation (500 word min). 
Again, I request that you go beyond a listing of data, and engage instead in hard reflections on how you might deal with the conflict and how it might become an opportunity for personal growth for you.
A good essay outlines the ideas to be tested “in action” and outline a tentative course of action.
