40 scale model

40 scale model of a ship is to be tested in a towing tank. (See Video V7.20.) Determine the required kinematic viscosity of the model fluid so that both the Reynolds number and the Froude number are the same for model and prototype. Assume the prototype fluid to be seawater at 60 °F. Could any of the liquids with viscosities given in Fig. B.2 in Appendix B be used as the model fluid?
