Essay 1. Write a detailed use case description, using the template described in the lecture notestemplate described in the lecture notes, for either the Create concept note or Browse concept notes use cases from the Case Study Example in the reading for this week. Essay 2. Think of the different possible uses you could make with a conference registration system and draw a use case diagram to represent these use cases. (Focus on just the primary use cases; do not worry about trying to discover include, extends and generalisation relationships.) List some non-functional requirements that would not be modelled with use cases. (A complete set of non-functional requirements is not needed.) Post this model as a JPEG or PNG image embedded in your message to the Discussion folder by day 4 of this week. Please also attach the .ASTA file to your message. (You can generate a graphic image from a diagram in astah* by selecting the Export Image ? menu item under the Tool menu.) There will be a watermark “astah*” diagonally across the image. This is a restriction of the community edition of the tool. The image file should be 10 to 25 KB in size. (You may find that the image generated by astah* is truncated on one side if you have a wide diagram. This is a bug in astah*. I have used a screen capture tool to capture some diagrams from astah*. You can download MWSnap, a freeware tool, from http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html)
