I need all answers. Please help me !

Use “Saving Money….Saving Lives” and look for leadership – find five examples from the two HBR readings on leadership.  That is, you want to find a characteristic or attribute of leadership from the articles and find an example in the hospital article.

The objective of this exercise is for you to see that leadership and management are different first.  And second, that leadership has a structure and is not just a characteristic of a person.

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

Find examples of the four leadership styles in the article.  This may take a bit of a stretch of the imagination but do what you can.

1.          Autocratic:  command and control

2.          Human relations:  people over tasks

3.          Laissez-faire:  do the best you can and don’t bother me

4.          Democratic style:  people and tasks together
