What are the main differences in the way people lived and perceived reality that separate the time period we refer to as "Antiquity" (up to the end of the Roman Empire) from the period the begins with the establishment of the first British colonies in the North American continent? Try to immerse yourself in each period being considered and look at it from the perspective of its people. How was their life like? How did they feel the world around them? Why? What did Antiquity have over the period described by the British colonization of North America (both from the perspective of those living in England and those colonizing the new North American territories) - and vice-versa?
