 A 4-kW pump operating at steady state draws in liquid water at 1 bar, 16°C with a mass flow rate of 4.5 kg/s. There are no significant kinetic and potential energy changes from inlet to exit and the local acceleration of gravity is 9.81 m/s2. Would it be possible for the pump to deliver water at a pressure of 10 bar?
