video link : http://www.nucleartippingpoint.org/film/film.html question attached below .. minimum words 300

A tipping point is the critical point in an evolving situation that leads to a new and irreversible development. When one speaks of a nuclear tipping point, the threat of deadly nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands is sobering.

"Al Qaeda has been seeking nuclear weapons for 10 years."
Final Report of the National (U.S.) Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (9/11 Commission)

What if they get a nuclear weapon?

Watch link (given). from the Nuclear Security Project, formed by former Secretary of State George Schultz, former Defense Secretary William Perry, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, and former Senator Sam Nunn to galvanize support for a world without nuclear weapons. It is their opinion that we are at a nuclear tipping point and the actions being taken are not adequate to the dangers. In this video, you will hear a conversation between the four senior statesmen, as well as interviews with key leaders and experts.

After watching Nuclear Tipping Point, create a thoughtful blog entry in the Ethics Point Blog and reflect on the following:

·         What do you think?

·         Whose perspective in Nuclear Tipping Point was the most personally meaningful and why?

·         How can nations work together toward the vision of a world without nuclear weapons and take practical steps towards that goal?

·         How can the world address the nuclear threat posed by North Korea or Iran?

·         What can be done to ensure that the expansion of civil nuclear energy does not lead to the further spread of nuclear weapons and nuclear materials?

Make sure to address opposing opinions in your reflection.
