Imagine that you are the parent of a child (younger than 10) who informs you that he or she has the wrong body and believes they are actually the other sex. How do you think you would react and what would you do for your child? (Would your responses be different if the child were 17 and not 7?)

Two page paper Watch the Kate Davis' (2000) documentary Southern Comfort which chronicles the last year in the life of Robert Eads, a female-to-male transsexual dying of terminal ovarian cancer in the backwoods of rural Georgia. After you have watched the film, its a Concept-Reaction paper which summarizes Eads' story and addresses the following questions:
