Prepare a (1) One Page business plan – research the One Page format - or a detailed Executive Summary  (2 pages MAX).

This builds on your last assignments, including the TOC last week, and requires you to zero in on your topic, the basic components, and the scope or scale of the proposed venture. You may use a variety of templates or formats …part of the assignments is to search for the format that best serves your purpose. If you don’t like the templates and want to risk it, just lay it out yourself – remember your audience of banker, investor etc.

Link the Marketing idea with $. Show the profitability and ROE.

Some One Page or Exec Summaries are too simplistic, they list Mission, Vision, and Strategy & Tactics etc. with equal weight and spacing given to these topics.

For our use things like Vision and Mission are 1 liners out of 40 lines of data and useful information. Give more weight to the Marketing and Financial data. Make your document read smoothly and pull the reader along.

Be specific with your actual proposal. Use a specific Company Name!

Create a PowerPoint presentation of Not More than 5 slides to support your plan above. There are numerous templates and slide decks….often these are called “pitch decks”, so search and pick out a format or look you think fits your business’s needs. Don’t bother with Title page etc. as for a term paper, just make a 5 slide presentation with appropriate 1^st slide. Follow posted PPT guidelines. 

Invest the time to be creative and build slides that do the job – don’t just copy and paste from a Plan draft…

Submit the PPT along with the Word files together in the Assignment tab.
