• You will prepare a PowerPoint of10-12 slides for a 6-8 minute presentation.
• Use sub-headings on slides (where necessary). Do not place too much information on the slides. Present the main ideas/points only.
• The first slide of your PowerPoint must be your title page (topic, link to your video, your name, etc.)
• Use a minimum of 3 scholarly sources.
• Use theAPA (6^th Edition) Referencing Style in completing this assignment. All sources cited must be included on the reference list, and vice versa.
• Refer to the rubric when completing this assignment.
• Try to be as convincing as possible. Just imagine you were in a debate and you are arguing for the moot. After much practice, make your presentation to a make-believe audience, and have it video-taped.

 

Assignment Description

Authentic assessment is the only appropriate method of assessment to be used with young children. Based on this moot, present three arguments in support of authentic assessment in the early childhood classroom.
