My assignment is about the problem solving essay,

Hi teacher,

My assignment is about the problem solving essay, i need to write 800 word for analyse the case that the question give

Here are some detail about the Case,I simplify the people in this case for People A, B, C.

A is a financial planner who work in a radio station and work weekly. B is one of the caller for A, she said she wanted to buy some shares. She said she did not want to invest in any companies associated with alcohol, gambling or tobacco. She also didn’t want to invest in mining shares. Then, She wanted to support Australian industry and she wanted a reasonable dividend yield. Therefore, A gave her 2 suggestion which may met her requirement: first one is Olivia Ltd-a large olive oil producing company in NSW; Second one is Grampia- an outdoor equipment. B follow A's suggestion that bought $10,000 shares in Olivia Ltd and Grampia with broker respectively. However, the result after her investment is that the price of both shares has fallen by 50% due to poor growing seasons with more than usual high winds and a general downturn in the stock market. Moreover, the Grampia, also experience a risk that 20% of the reduction in share value is due to the downturn in the stock market due to failure of the Grampian climbing equipment  .The remaining reason is possibly due to market perceptions of Grampian as having a poor safety record. B consider A did not catch up with the change of the stock market.

C is the other listener of A, also mislead by A to bought $5000 shares of Grampia Share as he  was interested in the outdoors and he wanted to put his savings into an industry he liked.

What the assignment ask to do: B and C both consult  for advice. They want to know whether they can take any legal action against either A or his radio station. Advise them whether there is any legal action they can take, the elements of that action, if any, whether those elements are satisfied and whether or not they are likely to be successful. Support your advice by reference to legislation and cases.

Notes from me:  this case is relate to Australian business law and relate to the Negligence. It is the first time i study law, so i have a bit confuse to analyse the case. Actually,  I just want to ask some useful and very clear idea to write this problem solving essay.

I hope i can get the clue with Australian law rather than American Law becasue they are so difference.

I will very appreicate that if i can get some tips.

Thanks a lot.
