ratio analysis

financial statements and ratio analysis, create a narratedPowerPoint illustrating the financial health of your chosen organization. Your presentation should contain no more than 10 slides (not including a title slide and a reference slide).

The following are suggested slides for inclusion in your presentation:

  • Introduction
  • Sales Growth Rate
  • Earnings Growth Rate
  • Return On Assets (ROA)
  • Return On Equity (ROE)
  • Profit Margin
  • Price-Earnings Ratio (P/E Ratio)
  • Total Asset Turnover
  • Analysis
  • Summary

You should include as much of this information as you can find or compute. Refer back to the finance videos linked in the Week 3 Module as needed.

The Analysis slide is required. It must include an original assessment of the company's financial health (that is, this must be your assessment and cannot be taken from any source). The analysis slide must also refer to data from previous slides justifying your assessment of the company's financial health.

The Conclusions slide is also required. Use it to make final personal observations about what you have learned about your company in completing this assignment.

In addition to demonstrating your ability to interpret and analyze data, this assignment should also demonstrate your ability to present information clearly, succinctly, and visually through the use of PowerPoint. Please consider the information in the video, "Death by PowerPoint" (linked in the Week 3 Module) as you create your presentation. (Hint: numbers and statistics are often difficult for an audience to digest- graphs, charts, etc. are good, visual solutions).
