Discuss capital budgeting techniques including: the Payback Rule, IRR, NPV, and the Profitability Index. Be sure to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each one. 2. Give an example of each capital budgeting technique above using your own numbers including cash flows, interest rate, and duration of the hypothetical project analyzed. Be creative with it. You do not need to use an Excel spreadsheet. You can insert your numbers in the word document. 3. Explain which capital budgeting technique is superior to the rest and why. Format The material is in Chapter 8 in the textbook. The paper needs to be a minimum of 1,250 words. You need to include a Title page and References along with the body of your paper. The case study needs to be in APA format. An abstract and table of contents is not required. Please use a few outside references other than your textbook. Feel free to use web sites or academic journals. Evaluation Each portfolio project will be evaluated for clarity of writing, critical analysis of the issues, proper use of references to support the positions taken, and the extent to which it addresses the issues specified in the application.
