Background Information

Faith has played a very significant role in Western civilization. During this course, we have studied the battles of the Catholic church, through the Enlightenment, the Renaissance and the Reformation. Following the Reformation was the Counter Reformation, the Industrial Revolution, revolutions, nationalism, imperialism, depression, dictators, world wars and changing society of the 20th and 21st centuries, all of which have affected the way faith was practiced, taught and used in Western history.

Instructions

1. Write a minimum 1,000 word paper on the impact of religious faith on a person, event or era. You will need to select your topic from the list provided in activity 3.5. John Calvin and the development of his theology IS THE TOPIC. Each student must select a different topic from the Faith and History paper topics list. Be sure you follow your instructor's specific directions on this paper. There are a few errors in the Sample Paper like no plagiarism statement and no page numbers. Those are required for this class. 
2. Review the assessment criteria below.  
3. When you have completed your assignment, save a copy for yourself and submit a copy to your instructor using the Dropbox by the end of the workshop.
